Fully agree. The number one thing needed to end the dominance of fossil fuels is to get the money out of politics. The maga-millionaires, the oligarchic corporates heads, .com thugs, and the military-industrial complex, get their way by buying the system and resisting any changes that might limit their accumulative abilities. Tax them heavily, limit contributions, and put some guardrails on the net to limit deliberately deceptive speech that targets the innocent, is a possibility, but this will only happen if we elect people who will do it. I don't see that happening this round of election, but electing Harris is at least a small step in the right direction. We don't have much time though, given the excessive leakage of methane recently documented.
